It is noticed that Sheikh Abubakar School has started constructing a three storey market building in order to generate an income to the school. The construction work (the project) has been undertaken by a long term loan fund from the World Islamic Development Bank. According to the Waqf committee head, Abdullahi Wabar, the construction of the project has stopped since last year mainly due to lack of fund. In this regard the Harar municipality has given a due attention to the project and lend one million birr to the school in order to accomplish the project.
